Layer One - PIN: Your cellular credit card can only be used for in person purchases where a PIN is entered. No PIN, no purchase, it’s as simple as that. Your PIN number is carried around by you in your head (similar to a ATM PIN number), it is not contained in the credit card barcode sent to you by TheMobileWallet and should not be kept on your cell phone. Therefore, even if someone obtains a copy of your cellular credit card they cannot make a purchase. |

Layer Two – Credit Card Number Protection: Even if a thief obtains the cellular credit card they would not be able to use it. The cellular credit card TheMobileWallet sends you does not have your credit card number on it. Therefore using the card is safer than using a normal credit card. If a thief obtains your traditional credit card they can use (or sell) your credit card information on the internet. If a thief obtains and decodes the cellular version of your cellular card the thief will simply have a set of numbers (which are not your credit card) which are useless to them. |

Layer Three – Database: TheMobileWallet does not maintain your credit card number in our database. Once you submit your credit card number for authorization TheMobileWallet no longer requires or retains your credit card number. |
