Question: Is it safe to have my credit card on my cell phone?
Answer: Yes, using the TheMobileWallet to place your credit card on your cell phone results in more security than if you were carrying your credit card with you. Remember that neither your actual credit card number nor your PIN number is contained in the Jpeg image which TheMobileWallet sends to you. Therefore if you lose your cell phone or it is stolen your credit card cannot be used since a thief will not have access to your credit card number or PIN number. Compare this to losing your plastic credit card, which can be used by a thief to make purchases both in person and internet purchases.
Question: Is the credit card on my cell phone a new credit card?
Answer: No, you are not using a new credit card, you will be using your existing credit card which has been converted for use on your cell phone. All purchases made with the cellular credit card will be authorized by the issuing bank of your existing credit card. You will receive a monthly statement from such issuing bank which will look the same as your existing statements. TheMobileWallet converts the format of your existing credit card so that it can be used on your cell phone it does not create a new credit card.
Question: Can I still use my plastic credit card?
Answer: Yes your existing plastic credit card can still be used regardless of whether you have entered into TheMobileWallet. Think of your cell credit card as another copy of your credit card in a different, more convenient, form.
Question: Where can I use my cellular credit card?
Answer: TheMobileWallet is currently working with merchants around the country to implement the use of cellular credit cards. A merchant simply needs a scanner capable of reading a PDF 417 barcode and a compatible PIN authorization pad and you can use your cellular card at the merchant. If you are aware of a merchant who has not yet obtained the necessary equipment please ask them to contact TheMobileWallet.
Question: Can I place any credit card on my cell phone?
Answer: Only credit cards issued by banks which have partnered with TheMobileWallet are eligible for placement on your cell phone. Currently the following banks have partnered with TheMobileWallet:

Answer: There is no cost to TheMobileWallet customers at any time for using our service.
